Position Summary
The Regulatory Specialist will support regulatory compliance and documentation for flavor and ingredient systems. This role is ideal for someone who is highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet domestic and international regulatory requirements and customer documentation standards.
Key Responsibilities

Create, update, and maintain regulatory and technical documents for products, including:

Product Data Sheets
-
Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
-
Nutritional Statements
-
Additional regulatory/compliance statements as required

Review and analyze product data and ingredient information to support compliance with U.S. and international requirements (food and flavor regulations).

Support documentation related to certification programs such as Organic, Non-GMO, Kosher, Halal, and similar programs.

Partner with R&D, Quality, Operations, and commercial teams to support compliance across the full product lifecycle.

Maintain accurate documentation records and version control, ensuring materials are audit-ready and responsive to customer needs.

Assist with regulatory projects, process improvements, and documentation initiatives as assigned.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.

3–5 years of regulatory experience in a food and/or flavor environment.

Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in documentation and data review.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate across teams.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with savory flavor systems.

Experience supporting alcoholic beverage submissions and/or related documentation.

Familiarity with formulation tools/software (e.g., ProductVision or similar).

Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Additional Notes
Salary range $70,000 – $80,000 (may vary based on experience, education, skills, and internal equity.) Plus potential annual bonus and benefits.
