Senior Project Manager

Location: Oakland (Hybrid)

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager, highly skilled and experienced in the development and construction of affordable housing, to join our dynamic team of consultants. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects through the development cycle and a deep understanding of affordable housing finance. This role requires a high level of cultural competency, the ability to earn trust and build relationships across a diverse client base, the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Communicate project updates and status reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
• Foster a collaborative team environment and mentor junior project managers and team members.
• Continuously evaluate project processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in affordable housing project management
• Proven experience managing all phases of a development 
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks effectively.
• Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or advanced degree preferred
