As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in keeping production equipment, tools, and facilities in optimal condition, ensuring a safe and productive environment for the team.

Duties: 
Including but not limited to:
  • Perform general maintenance to ensure optimal condition and performance of facilities and equipment.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance according to schedule.
  • Respond to work orders and maintenance requests promptly.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in production equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and procedures.
  • Repair, maintain, and install machinery, tools, and equipment to minimize production downtime.
  • Support utility systems to ensure uninterrupted heat, electricity, gas, and air supply.
  • Maintain and repair standard manufacturing equipment, including pumps, fans, welders, and conveyors.
  • Assist with building and grounds maintenance, including snow and ice removal.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of tools, parts, and maintenance supplies.
  • Keep maintenance tools and equipment clean, organized, and in good condition.
  • Communicate issues and potential concerns to maintenance and production leadership.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to resolve equipment issues and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment.
  • Follow all safety procedures and policies.
  • Uphold and model core company values and standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hands-on, proactive problem solver with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Skilled in diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues efficiently.
  • Able to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and manuals.
  • Remains calm and effective under pressure, demonstrates initiative, and acts with a sense of urgency.
  • Committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing shop floor environment is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of computers or smartphones; familiarity with programs like Word is helpful.

Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment:
  • Shop floor environment that is not climate controlled.
  • Safety-toe shoes, protective eyewear, and gloves are required when handling materials.
