Project Manager – Customer Supply & Contract Manufacturing

About the Role

We’re hiring a supply-side project manager to lead external manufacturing programs and serve as the primary link between our team and our contract packaging partners. Hybrid role in SLC area, this role is critical to keeping our growing co-manufacturing network running on time and on spec.

You’ll manage customer-facing initiatives from kickoff to final delivery—building production plans, navigating supply chain challenges, and coordinating with internal teams across planning, logistics, procurement, and operations. With another facility coming online soon, this is a chance to step into a fast-scaling operation and take the lead on key client relationships and execution strategy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the go-to contact for contract manufacturing customers—ensuring accurate planning, smooth execution, and clear communication throughout
• Oversee day-to-day operations across packaging and co-manufacturing programs
• Develop and manage production timelines, materials flow, and fulfillment schedules
• Coordinate with internal departments to align on inventory, capacity, and demand planning
• Monitor potential delays or risks and respond quickly with solutions
• Maintain data accuracy within SAP (or similar ERP)—tracking availability, scheduling, and project milestones
• Measure results against KPIs related to OTIF, service level, and cost management
• Lead reporting and updates for both internal leadership and external clients
• Recommend and support supply chain improvements to increase efficiency as the company scales

Requirements

• BS in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Sales & Marketing or a related field
• 5–10 years of experience in a project manager role supporting manufacturing, must have food, beverage or CPG experience
• PMP certified is a plus 
• Direct experience working with contract manufacturers or co-packers strongly preferred
• Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple moving parts across facilities and departments
• Comfortable in a client-facing role—confident communicator, planner, and problem-solver
• Proactive mindset with the ability to drive timelines, anticipate challenges, and collaborate under pressure
• Team-oriented approach with a willingness to jump in wherever needed
