Healthcare Regulatory Senior Counsel (Partner-Track)
Location: Roseland, NJ, US
Salary Range: $180,000 to $250,000 annually
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Counsel or Junior Partner specializing in Healthcare Regulatory law. This pivotal role requires comprehensive expertise in healthcare compliance and the ability to act as a key advisor on regulatory matters. This position offers the opportunity to influence major healthcare transactions and ensure adherence to complex legal frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on healthcare regulatory, compliance, and enforcement issues.
- Guide healthcare transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, and affiliations.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to clients on regulatory changes and enforcement trends.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to manage and mitigate legal risks.
- Develop training programs for clients and internal teams on regulatory compliance.
- Stay informed on changes in healthcare laws and provide timely guidance.
- Foster and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to the growth of the practice.
- Mentor junior attorneys and support team development.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree with strong academic credentials.
- Minimum of 10 years in healthcare regulatory law.
- Admission to the New Jersey Bar is required; New York Bar admission is advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, Medicare/Medicaid, and corporate practice regulations.
- Experience advising healthcare providers and systems.
- Proficiency in handling government investigations and regulatory agency interactions.
- Knowledge of healthcare privacy laws, including HIPAA.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and judgment skills.
- Strong communication and client-facing capabilities.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a proven track record in business development.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive base salary ranging from $180,000 to $250,000, depending on experience.
