Quality Supervisor Responsibilities:
Quality Supervisor Education and Qualifications:
- Responsible for any assigned audits and documentation requirements.
- Daily reporting to Quality Manager about plant issues.
- Maintain and report key quality metrics.
- Train new leaders and inspectors in their job functions.
- Validate and assist in the development of verification and error proofing practices.
- Committed to achieving world class performance standards.
- Build strong working relationships with customer representatives.
- Provides excellent customer service to all customers, both internal and external.
- Responsible for administering the Quality Assurance process consistent with customer specifications or requirements both on incoming materials and products.
- Participate in plant cost reduction/improvement program.
- Ensure compliance to plants policies and procedures.
- When any defects occur, determine which department is responsible and request action plan.
- Manage corrective actions for all processes.
- Follows-up with customer(s) as needed to ensure satisfaction with performance and quality.
Quality Supervisor Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Excellent problem solving techniques.
- Experience with supervision and team development skills.
- Error proofing knowledge.
- Lean Manufacturing Practices knowledge.
- Familiar with Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques.
- Understanding of TS 16949.
- Ability to give constructive feedback to improve performance.
- Excellent communication skills (listening, oral, written and presentation).
- Ability to work Off Shift.
