Civil Engineer / Project Manager – Residential Land Development

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer / Project Manager to lead residential land development projects in the Charlotte area. This role focuses on greenfield single-family and multifamily community development, managing projects from concept through construction.

This is a great opportunity for a licensed engineer who wants to lead projects, manage teams, and work closely with developers, builders, and architects on high-impact residential communities across the Carolinas.

Key Responsibilities

·        Manage residential land development projects from design through permitting and construction

·        Lead design efforts including grading, roadway, stormwater, utilities, and site layout

·        Coordinate with internal teams, developers, and regulatory agencies

·        Oversee project schedules, documentation, and technical quality

·        Support permitting, rezoning coordination, and construction administration

Qualifications

·        B.S. in Civil Engineering

·        PE license in North Carolina and South Carolina

·        5+ years of residential land development experience (SFD, townhomes, multifamily)

·        Strong experience with grading, stormwater management, drainage, utilities, and roadway design

·        Proficiency in Civil 3D and related engineering software

·        Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
