What You Will Be Doing
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair high-capacity industrial automation machinery, processing lines, and integrated robotic cells.
- Interface directly with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs to trace logic faults, diagnose inputs/outputs, and rapidly resolve critical equipment errors.
- Read and interpret complex mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics to safely execute emergency breakdown repairs and structured preventative maintenance.
- Maintain, rebuild, and optimize fluid power components, including heavy-duty pneumatic valves, cylinders, and distribution lines.
- Work confidently on industrial AC/DC electrical systems, electric motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and power distribution setups.
- Execute light structural and programmatic welding as needed to support general machinery modifications, system fabrications, and repair activities.
What We Are Looking For
- Industrial maintenance track record featuring a minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience maintaining high-speed production or heavy industrial machinery; strong, independent diagnostic capability is required.
- Automation familiarity with clear exposure to working around automated systems, including basic navigation or fault-tracing within PLC environments.
- Schematic literacy and mechanical fundamentals backed by solid proficiency tracing electrical blueprints, reading mechanical drawings, and maintaining fluid power equipment.
- Professional reliability and a steady, consistent work history that demonstrates long-term commitment and strong daily attendance with past employers.
- Local commute and permanent residency established within a comfortable 45-minute driving radius of the Greater Milwaukee, WI area.
