The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should include the following:
- Perform precision TIG and MIG welding on custom fabrications and prototypes for highly regulated industries
- Interpret and work from complex engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure 100% accuracy of finished parts
- Make necessary adjustments to welding equipment and parameters to maintain superior weld quality and integrity
- Lay out and assemble diverse metal components, ensuring they meet strict ISO 9001:2015 quality standards
- Utilize overhead cranes and forklifts to safely position large-scale projects for fabrication
- Collaborate with a team of experienced fabricators to troubleshoot design challenges and optimize production runs
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to all shop safety protocols
The background of the successful candidate must include the following:
- 5+ years of professional TIG and MIG welding experience
- 5+ years of experience reading blueprints and interpreting weld symbols
- A strong reliability record; consistent attendance is critical for this high-performance team
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an active manufacturing environment
- Previous experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes is a significant plus
- A solid work history with a preference for candidates who have shown long-term commitment to previous employers
- US citizenship or Green Card status with a residence within a 45-minute drive of West Bend
