The Machine Technician position will be responsible for ensuring that all Sorter machines are fully operational as well as keeping the parts inventory up to date. Will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenanace of all barcode printers. Will be responsible for running all project tests, inspecting that the products meet the required parameters and quality ensuring the completion of the tasks according to the production needs. Must supervise the check machines prior to a high monthly production volume, to avoid production delays due to equipment problems.

Machine Technician Responsibilities: 

• Organize and log every part in inventory.
• Log all incidents and procedures.
• Monitor the sorter machines/Printers throughout the daily production.
• Log and monitor weekly/monthly cleaning of all the machines/printers.
• Test all machines after every service to ensure they are fully operational.

Machine Technician Requirements: 

• High School or equivalent with prior warehouse type setting experience. Background in maintenance helpful.
• Must have good communication skills, organized and proactive in their duties. Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook skills.
• Background in printing and mail experience is a plus.
