D365 ERP Manager
Own the Platform. Lead the Team. Power the Next Stage of Growth.
Business Applications | Full-Time
Our client is looking for a hands-on D365 ERP Manager to take ownership of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations as the business grows through new locations, additional entities, and acquisitions. This is more than a maintenance role: you’ll lead the people, priorities, partners, and releases that keep a mission-critical ERP platform performing—and help bring new operations onto it successfully.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
Be the accountable day-to-day leader of a business-critical D365 F&O environment.
Lead a blend of technical and functional ERP talent while partnering with Finance, Purchasing, and Operations.
Play a central role in multi-entity rollouts, acquisitions, process improvements, and ERP modernization.
What You’ll Do
Own D365 production performance, environment health, configuration standards, releases, testing, and deployment readiness.
Lead and coach ERP analysts, developers, and support resources; balance support, enhancements, and project priorities.
Translate business needs into practical solutions across configuration, process improvements, and development.
Own and prioritize the ERP backlog, communicate progress, and drive user adoption and training.
Lead ERP implementations, entity and regional rollouts, data migrations, cutovers, go-lives, and hypercare.
Oversee D365 integrations, partner with BI/Data teams, and support data quality and reporting.
Manage implementation and support partners against scopes of work, deliverables, budgets, and timelines.
Maintain change controls, role-based access, audit readiness, incident response, service metrics, and recovery procedures.
What You Bring
Hands-on production experience with D365 Finance & Operations / Dynamics AX and strong knowledge of finance and supply chain or manufacturing processes.
Experience leading ERP teams or workstreams, including assigning priorities and developing people.
Successful delivery of ERP rollouts or upgrades through go-live and post-launch support.
Experience managing ERP implementation or support partners and coordinating integrations and migrations.
Comfort with change management, testing, access controls, and executive-level stakeholder communication.
Typically 5+ years in ERP roles, including 2+ years leading people or ERP workstreams; equivalent experience is welcome. No specific degree is required.
Extra Experience We’d Love to See
Legacy ERP-to-D365 migrations, including Ross ERP; acquisitions and international, multi-entity, or multi-currency rollouts.
Manufacturing or industrial distribution; Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, Azure integration, or SQL.
D365 certifications, PMP/ITIL training, or audit-driven/SOX-style controls.
Your Impact
You’ll be the person who brings clarity, accountability, and momentum to the D365 operation—while collaborating with IT leadership on larger platform and investment decisions.
