§ Title: Senior Counsel – Commercial Real Estate & Finance Transactions
§ Practice Area: Commercial Property Acquisitions, Leasing, and Corporate Financing
§ Location: Greenwich, Connecticut (In-Office)
§ Salary: $160,000 to $200,000 Base Salary (Complemented by a discretionary year-end bonus, merit-based increases, origination credit, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) matching)
§ Schedule: Full-time, Minimum 1,800 hours annual billed requirement

§ Duties:
The appointed attorney will serve as a primary transactional advisor within the firm's elite Real Estate practice group. This role demands a comprehensive mastery of the commercial property lifecycle, from initial acquisition to final disposition, alongside a strong command of corporate financing mechanisms. The successful candidate will navigate complex transactional frameworks on behalf of business owners, commercial developers, and prominent franchise operators.
Core responsibilities include:
⨖ Architecting and executing a broad spectrum of commercial real estate agreements, negotiating critical provisions within purchase and sale agreements, complex commercial leases, and ancillary transactional documentation.
⨖ Stewarding sophisticated property acquisitions and strategic dispositions, meticulously managing the transactional pipeline from preliminary structuring through to successful closing.
⨖ Providing authoritative counsel on corporate finance architectures, expertly structuring and negotiating intricate loan documentation, security instruments, and associated financial agreements.
⨖ Advocating for both lenders and borrowers in complex financing arrangements, with a specialized emphasis on capital deployment within the franchise business sector.
⨖ Executing rigorous due diligence protocols, including the meticulous evaluation of title commitments, property surveys, and zoning reports, while orchestrating seamless coordination with title underwriters, financial institutions, and opposing legal counsel.
§ Qualifications:
Candidates must demonstrate a proven trajectory of excellence in managing sophisticated commercial real estate matters and possess the requisite legal acumen to operate autonomously in a demanding, client-facing capacity.
⨖ Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an American Bar Association accredited institution, accompanied by an exemplary academic dossier.
⨖ Active and in good standing Bar License within the State of Connecticut is strictly required.
⨖ A minimum of five (5) years of substantive, post-graduate legal experience specifically dedicated to commercial real estate and corporate transactional law.
⨖ Demonstrated proficiency in steering complex commercial leasing, property acquisitions, asset dispositions, and secured financing transactions.
§ Skills: The following attributes are considered highly advantageous and will significantly distinguish exceptional candidates:
⨖ Additional active bar admissions within the states of New York or New Jersey.
⨖ Niche expertise in franchise-related transactions, franchise financing, or operational frameworks within the franchise industry.
⨖ An established portfolio of transportable business or a demonstrated capacity to generate and cultivate new client relationships, maximizing the firm's lucrative origination credit structure.
⨖ Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, characterized by the ability to communicate intricate legal concepts with absolute clarity to sophisticated business stakeholders.
