Role Overview
Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage moderately complex construction projects or key portions of large-scale projects. This role is responsible for overseeing project operations, administration, scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, safety compliance, and overall project execution from preconstruction through closeout.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and promote a strong safety culture across project teams.
- Manage all phases of construction projects including planning, buyout, execution, scheduling, and closeout.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, field teams, and ownership groups.
- Review and manage shop drawings, submittals, change orders, procurement, and project documentation.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, cost forecasts, and profitability tracking.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Lead project meetings including progress reviews and Owner-Architect-Contractor meetings.
- Oversee subcontractor and owner pay applications.
- Ensure successful project delivery related to budget, schedule, quality, and safety standards.
- Support preconstruction activities including bid packages, quantity takeoffs, scope reviews, and trade coordination.
- Collaborate with internal teams including logistics, self-perform, risk management, and legal counsel when necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- 7+ years of construction management experience required.
- Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, budgeting, and project lifecycle management.
- Advanced proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools, and construction technology.
- Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing budgets and maximizing project profitability.
