Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage moderately complex construction projects or key portions of large-scale projects. This role is responsible for overseeing project operations, administration, scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, safety compliance, and overall project execution from preconstruction through closeout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and promote a strong safety culture across project teams.
  • Manage all phases of construction projects including planning, buyout, execution, scheduling, and closeout.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, field teams, and ownership groups.
  • Review and manage shop drawings, submittals, change orders, procurement, and project documentation.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, cost forecasts, and profitability tracking.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Lead project meetings including progress reviews and Owner-Architect-Contractor meetings.
  • Oversee subcontractor and owner pay applications.
  • Ensure successful project delivery related to budget, schedule, quality, and safety standards.
  • Support preconstruction activities including bid packages, quantity takeoffs, scope reviews, and trade coordination.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including logistics, self-perform, risk management, and legal counsel when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 7+ years of construction management experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, budgeting, and project lifecycle management.
  • Advanced proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools, and construction technology.
  • Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing budgets and maximizing project profitability.
