POSITION OVERVIEW:

 

Our client, a global law firm, seeks a dedicated HRIS Workday Analyst to support and enhance its HR operations through expert maintenance and development of the human resource information system (HRIS). This role focuses on Workday system functionality, providing specialized technical support, user training, and system documentation to optimize HR projects and processes. 

Key Responsibilities:

 

·       Benefits Module Oversight: Collaborate closely with the benefits team to oversee and optimize the Workday benefits module, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.

·       Open Enrollment Configuration: Configure and manage the open enrollment process within Workday.

·       Reporting: Generate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and government-required reports, as well as ad hoc reports for internal and external clients as needed.

·       Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work on cross-functional projects and system enhancements with benefits, recruiting, compensation, absence, time tracking, payroll, and core HR, with a primary focus on benefits.

·       Problem Resolution & Troubleshooting: Research, resolve, and troubleshoot system issues in collaboration with IT vendors and partners.

·       End-User Training & Support: Develop training materials, deliver end-user training, and provide ongoing support, ensuring system knowledge and functionality are well-communicated and accessible.

·       Data Accuracy & Auditing: Conduct regular audits to validate data accuracy, identify and rectify discrepancies, and ensure compliance with data integrity standards.

·       System Configuration & Documentation: Update HR system setups, maintain user documentation, and ensure efficient utilization of the HRIS.

·       Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation, self-service, and validation enhancements to streamline HRIS processes and improve data integrity.

·       Special Projects: Participate in or lead special projects as needed, contributing to broader HRIS goals and objectives.

Qualifications & Prior Experience:

·        Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

·        Experience: Five to ten years of technical experience with HR software, HR processes, and payroll rules, preferably in multi-state environments; legal environment experience is a plus.

·        Workday Expertise: Minimum of three years of Workday-specific experience, including design, configuration, and testing. Workday Pro Certification in Benefits is highly preferred.

·        Preferred Skills: Experience with Workday Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Absence, Integration BIRT Reporting, Talent Management, Time Tracking, Payroll, Compensation, Recruiting, and/or LMS.

·        Technical Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Adobe PDF; comprehensive experience in creating and modifying Workday Advanced reports.

·        Certifications: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is preferred but not required.

 

 

Physical Requirements:        

 

·       Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

·       Moderate or advanced keyboard usage.

·       Standard hours of work: Monday through Friday. Some late nights and weekends may be required.

·       Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds at times.

·       Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
