POSITION SUMMARY:

We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Representative. The Customer Service Representative will interact directly with customers, focusing on unique and complex projects. This role involves not only traditional customer service tasks such as answering phone calls and emails, and taking orders, but also working closely with customers to design custom tackle storage units, dash panels, and more. This role is perfect for someone who is not only passionate about boating and the outdoors but also has a knack for project management and customer service. The ideal candidate is someone who has spent a lot of time on the water, and brings hands-on experience in managing projects and engaging with customers. This full-time position offers a salary range of $40K-$50K per year and is located in Ocoee, FL.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assess customer needs and provide assistance and information on product features.
  • Interpret customer requirements, identify engineering challenges, and act as a liaison between the customer and engineering teams.
  • Proactively manage customer projects to facilitate sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a balance between company policy and customer benefit when making decisions.
  • Engage with customers who are passionate about boating and the outdoors, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
 

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • General interest in boats and boating accessories; extensive boating experience strongly preferred.
  • Previous project management experience, with the ability to manage complex customer projects from start to finish.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and challenges daily.
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service and complete sales.
  • An outdoorsy lifestyle is a plus, including spending time on the water.
 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience.
  • Previous customer service experience is required, with a preference for candidates who have demonstrated job stability.
 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds at times.
