Machine Operator I – Special Products

Pay: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Day Shift)
Location: Arlington, TX

We are currently hiring a Machine Operator I to join our Special Products team. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone dependable, hands-on, and ready to work in a manufacturing environment.


Position Summary

Prepare and operate machines to produce high-quality products while following safety and production standards.


What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare machines for production and verify safe operating parameters
  • Load and unload parts from machines
  • Inspect finished parts for quality
  • Repair minor defects as needed
  • Clean molds and equipment
  • Perform buffing and brush painting
  • Use hand tools, including X-Acto knives
  • Ensure materials are ready and available for production
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area

What We’re Looking For:

  • Entry-level – works under close supervision
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Ability to convert basic weights and measurements
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus but not required

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged standing
  • Frequent bending, pushing, pulling, and stooping
  • Lifting requirements vary by department (20–50+ lbs)
  • Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions (heat in summer, cold in winter)
