Assembler Test Tech I – Arlington, TX

Pay: $17.00 - $17.50/hr DOE
Shift: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM

We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Assembler Test Tech I to join our manufacturing team in Arlington, TX. This position supports the assembly, installation, handling, and testing of large steel components used in the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have experience using a variety of hand tools and equipment and be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the safe and efficient assembly of large parts, tools, and equipment
• Operate manual and pneumatic hand tools, air tools, hydraulic torque wrenches, hydraulic tensioning devices, hydraulic presses, overhead cranes, and forklifts
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
• Assist with mechanical testing programs and manufacturing procedures
• Support production, machine operation, and molding departments as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Mechanically inclined with experience using common hand and power tools
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Strong safety awareness and work ethic
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Capable of learning new skills quickly and working with minimal supervision
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional lifting of 75-100 lbs. with assistance
• Frequent standing, bending, climbing, and moving throughout the workday
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
