MACHINE OPERATOR I – AEROSPACE
Location: Arlington, TX
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:30 AM–4:00 PM; Friday, 5:30 AM–11:00 AM
Some Saturdays Required
Pay: $16.00 per hour
We are hiring Machine Operators to join a growing aerospace manufacturing team! This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in manufacturing and is willing to learn.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate production machines according to established procedures
- Check machine settings, operating parameters, and equipment for safety
- Load and unload parts from machines
- Inspect finished parts for quality
- Trim, buff, and repair defective parts
- Clean molds and production equipment
- Assemble and disassemble molds
- Use hand and power tools to complete production tasks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety procedures and production instructions
- Stop work and report unsafe conditions when necessary
What We’re Looking For
- Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply!
- Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required
- Previous forklift and/or hoist experience is a plus
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and weights/measures
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to quality and detail
- Reliable, safety-minded, and willing to learn
- Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift certification
Tools & Equipment
You may work with press machines, forklifts, cranes/hoists, drills, impacts, buffers, clamps, hand tools, dollies/carts, air hoses, trimmers, and other manufacturing equipment.
Physical Requirements
- Must be comfortable standing and/or sitting for extended periods
- Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and stooping
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 20–50+ lbs. depending on the assigned production area
- Ability to work in extreme heat during the summer and extreme cold during the winter
- Must be able to safely perform physically demanding manufacturing tasks
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT
Due to the nature of certain aerospace client contracts, verification of U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
