Are you an experienced Heavy Equipment Assembler looking for a stable opportunity where your mechanical skills really matter? We are seeking an experienced Assembler / Test Technician III to join a manufacturing team building and testing large, heavy-duty equipment.

This is a hands-on, physically demanding position ideal for someone with a strong background in heavy equipment assembly, hydraulics, mechanical tools, and industrial manufacturing.

πŸ’° PAY & SCHEDULE

  • Up to $22.00/hour, depending on experience
  • Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM–1:30 PM
  • Some Saturdays may be required
  • Potential for 8–12 hour shifts based on production needs

πŸ”© WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Safely handle, lift, position, and assemble large steel components and heavy equipment
  • Use a variety of manual and pneumatic hand tools
  • Operate hydraulic torque wrenches, hydraulic tensioning devices, and hydraulic presses
  • Operate overhead cranes and forklifts
  • Assist with mechanical testing programs and manufacturing procedures
  • Read and follow blueprints, mechanical drawings, and written procedures
  • Prepare material lists and coordinate with supervisors and other departments
  • Help ensure products are completed and shipped on schedule
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Assist with installation of test equipment, including strain gauges
  • Take a leadership role with the assembly crew when the Lead is unavailable
  • Travel for field assignments may be required, including onshore/offshore work

βœ… WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum 4 years of heavy equipment assembly experience
  • Heavy equipment manufacturing and/or oilfield services experience preferred
  • Strong experience with:
    • Manual and pneumatic hand tools
    • Hydraulic torque wrenches
    • Hydraulic tensioning equipment
    • Hydraulic presses
    • Overhead cranes
    • Forklifts
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and mechanical drawings
  • Strong understanding of mechanical equipment and manufacturing processes
  • Excellent safety awareness and a strong safety record
  • Basic math and weights/measures conversion skills
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent

πŸ’ͺ PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This is a physically demanding manufacturing position. Candidates must be able to:

  • Frequently lift up to 50 lbs
  • Occasionally lift 75–100 lbs with assistance
  • Stand, bend, stoop, and lift for extended periods
  • Work 8–12 hour shifts when required
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Work in elevated areas and confined spaces while following required PPE and safety procedures

🌎 TRAVEL & FIELD WORK

Travel may be required, including onshore, offshore, and potentially international assignments. Extended travel of up to 30 days may be required depending on the project.

Offshore/field work may involve extreme weather, hazardous environments, elevated work areas, and confined spaces. Required certifications may include TWIC, HUET, Offshore Water Survival, Safe Gulf Orientation, and a valid U.S. passport, depending on assignment requirements.
