Pay rate: (Depending on experience)

Shift: 8am-5pm

 

We’re seeking an experienced Strategic Buyer to support production and operations by managing the timely and cost-effective purchase of materials, supplies, and services. This role ensures production runs smoothly while maintaining quality, cost control, and supplier relationships.

 

 

• Source and purchase direct and indirect materials, equipment, and services

• Obtain, compare, and evaluate quotes from approved suppliers

• Create and manage purchase orders through ERP/SAP systems

• Track deliveries and ensure timely receipt of materials to avoid production delays

• Communicate with suppliers, internal teams, and vendors to resolve issues

• Assist with inventory management and plant inventory activities

• Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols

• Support cost-control initiatives and continuous improvement in procurement processes

 

 

• Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years of relevant purchasing/procurement experience

• Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); SAP/ERP experience a plus

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines

• Understanding of supply chain, logistics, and inventory management

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
