Mechanic - Dump Truck Body Installer
Job hours 6:00am to 2:30pm Payrate DOE: $22-$35

This position is ideal for candidates with solid experience in mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical systems—and welding is a big plus! We’re flexible if you bring two out of the three core skills (mechanical, 12-volt electrical, welding).
🔧 What You’ll Do

Install and repair dump bodies, flatbeds, PTO systems, toolboxes, lighting, hitches, and more.

Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems with accuracy.

Perform basic fabrication tasks including MIG welding, cutting, grinding, and drilling.

Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Keep a safe and organized shop environment.
✅ What We’re Looking For

5+ years of experience as a mechanic or in related mechanical work.

Hands-on experience with 12-volt electrical and hydraulic systems (PTOs, pumps).

MIG welding & fabrication skills (preferred but not required if you bring strengths in other areas).

Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair with minimal supervision.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Must have your own basic hand tools.

Reliable, punctual, and a true team player.

Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks (climb, kneel, crawl, etc.).

Two recent professional references required.
