Job Title: Inventory Cycle Counter – Fabrication / Warehouse

Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Inventory Cycle Counter to support inventory accuracy in a fast-paced fabrication environment. This role is responsible for performing cycle counts, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring materials are properly tracked to support production efficiency and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts on raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and consumables
• Verify quantities and locations of materials on the shop floor and in storage areas
• Ensure accurate labeling, bin locations, and part numbers
• Assist with full physical inventory as needed
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in collaboration with Purchasing, Production, and Warehouse teams
• Communicate material shortages, variances, and issues to internal departments
• Participate in 5S, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support root cause analysis (8D) for inventory errors
• Move, weigh, and measure materials using pallet jacks, forklifts, cranes, or scales
• Maintain organized inventory areas following FIFO/FEFO practices
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of shipping and receiving experience
• Inventory and material handling experience required
• Ability to label and organize inventory accurately
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to match part numbers and follow work orders
• Forklift experience preferred (or ability to become certified)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
• Stand for extended periods
• Frequent bending, kneeling, and stooping
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments
• Exposure to shop conditions such as noise, dust, and chemicals
