Job Description:

The Paint Prep / Sandblasting Technician is responsible for preparing metal surfaces for painting to ensure proper coating adhesion and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare metal for painting, including sandblasting steel surfaces

• Wipe down steel to remove oil, cutting fluids, and contaminants

• Use measurement devices to measure and record sandblast profile

• Maintain cleanliness of the blast booth, including lights and surrounding areas

• Change filters and perform basic booth maintenance

• Follow all safety and quality standards

Requirements:

• Previous sandblasting or paint prep experience preferred

• Ability to use measuring tools and gauges

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Ability to work in an industrial environment

• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
