Fast-paced manufacturer is seeking an HR Generalist to work in a collaborative, team oriented environment. Daily you will report to the HR Manager and work within a team of HR professionals. Responsibilities will include:
- Full-Cycle Recruitment & Staffing: Lead talent acquisition efforts for hourly and salaried positions, manage the job posting process, lead new employee orientations, and oversee training, performance reviews, and exit interviews.
- Proactive Employee Relations: Drive positive workplace engagement and maintain open communication channels by applying proactive employee interaction practices across the facility.
- Benefits & Welfare Administration: Manage health and welfare programs, coordinate annual open enrollment, handle leave administration (e.g., FMLA), and participate in local compensation and benefits surveys.
- HR Policy & Legal Compliance: Assist in administering HR policies to ensure continuous compliance with federal, state, and DOL regulations.
- HRIS Administration & Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate employee records and files within HRIS tools (ADP EV6 and WF Manager) while delivering comprehensive administrative support.
- Culture & Engagement Events: Organize company functions, employee recognition programs, service awards, meetings, and community relations activities.
- Continuous HR Improvement: Contribute to setting HR department goals, optimizing operational workflows, and evaluating systems to enhance service efficiency across the plant.
REQUIREMENTS for the Manufacturing HR Generalist:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 1-2 years of similar HR experience in manufacturing and/or distribution
- Experience recruiting and hiring hourly and/or salary staff
- Benefits administration experience
- HRIS experience
- Microsoft Office, including MS Excel
- Automotive supplier experience
- FMLA and/or BWC experience
- ADP experience
