Established, profitable, high-profile organization is seeking a Manufacturing Controller. The Manufacturing Controller will lead accounting functions for multiple businesses and will not have any direct reports. This is a hands-on position that will be responsible for the following functions:
- Leading the site budgeting and forecasting processes
- Owning the month and year-end closing process for multiple business units
- Completing financial analysis on a regular basis
- Monitoring raw materials and completing cost analysis
- Maintaining inventory control, including reviewing inventory and making any necessary adjustments
- Extracting data from the ERP system and generating reports in MS Excel
- Completing data entry, journal entries and reconciliation
- Supporting team members with strong financial analysis skills
- Assisting with treasury functions
- Supporting the sustainability process
- Collaborating with team members to maintain and improve accounting processes
- Other duties as directed by management
REQUIREMENTS for the Manufacturing Controller:
1. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, ideally in accounting
2. At least five years in a similar lead manufacturing accounting position
3. Experience performing accounting functions in manufacturing environments
4. Cost accounting and analysis

2. CPA
