Packaging Engineer - Sustainability & Knowledge Management

White Plains, NY | Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Our client, a fast-growing beauty, wellness, and personal care company, is looking for a Packaging Engineer to join a small, highly visible packaging team supporting a portfolio of leading consumer brands.

This position sits at the intersection of packaging technology, sustainability, documentation, and project leadership. The team works closely with co-manufacturers, suppliers, and design partners, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating projects, solving technical problems, and influencing packaging decisions without spending all day running line trials or developing packaging from scratch.

The ideal candidate understands packaging fundamentals and manufacturing processes but is equally comfortable managing projects, organizing technical information, and working across functions to move initiatives forward.

This role offers significant visibility and the opportunity to help shape the future direction of the packaging organization as the company continues its rapid growth.

What We're Looking For

• 1-5 years of packaging-related experience
• Packaging Engineering, Packaging Quality, Packaging Procurement, Product Development, or related background
• Experience in CPG, food, beauty, personal care, cosmetics, wellness, household products, or similar industries
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Understanding of packaging materials, specifications, and manufacturing processes
• Interest in sustainability initiatives and packaging optimization
• Self-starter comfortable working in a small team environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders
