Title: Human Resource Manager

Location: Wisconsin

Compensation: up to $115k

Our valued client, a reputable manufacturing company, is currently in search of a capable and proactive Human Resource Manager. Taking on the role of Human Resource Manager, you will play a pivotal part in delivering crucial HR functions encompassing recruitment, benefits, training, and payroll. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the accurate implementation of HR policies, all while fostering and extending employee relations.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain genuine business partnership with various departments while maintaining a strong presence on the floor to gauge employee feedback

  • Champion employee concerns and address employee relations issues impartially, while actively participating in succession planning initiatives to ensure effective plant operations.

  • Offer comprehensive support to bolster facility safety measures and performance. 

  • Demonstrate an in-depth grasp of, and ensure compliance with, established company policies, procedures, practices, programs, benefits, and applicable laws.

  • Take charge of new employee onboarding and training to ensure workplace readiness and cultivate a positive organizational outlook.

  • Strategize and organize company events related to employee initiatives 

  • Serve as the organization's representative in employee-related hearings and investigations, concurrently managing worker compensation reports, recordkeeping, and documentation.

  • Create the annual guidance document, analyzing employee-related data like hires, turnover, and absenteeism to formulate action plans addressing challenges, while also providing adept guidance to line and department staff regarding employee concerns, issues, and disciplinary actions in alignment with company policies.

 

Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as an HR Generalist 

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in Manufacturing

  • Minimum of 2 years managerial experience

  • Minimum of 2 years established proficiency in principles, procedures, and legal frameworks of employee policies: extensive familiarity with labor laws and regulations

  • Bachelors in Human Resources

  • Open to travel 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Either a PHR or SHRM certification is preferred or HRIS experience 

  • Strong communication and leadership experience
