Title: Staff Accountant/ Bookkeeper

Location: Memphis, TN 

Salary: Up to $65k

Our valued client, a premier accounting firm with a strong track record, is actively seeking an experienced and detail oriented Staff Accountant/Bookkeeper to join their growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting and empowering small businesses, making an impact in the field of financial expertise.

As a Staff Accountant/Bookkeeper, your role will involve leveraging your meticulous attention to detail and top-notch organizational abilities to deliver comprehensive financial summaries to a portfolio of small business clients.   • Implement and Maintain the Firm’s Accounting and Tax Process by:

    • utilizing cloud-based systems, you would 

    • implementing our client’s process for accounting and tax in a systematized, consistent way.

  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication with clients and team members to provide the client’s  deliverables. 

  • Untangle AR messes and take security with our client’s data seriously.

  • Give clients the opportunity to thrive by maintaining a thorough understanding of the products and services we offer so that you can give each client the opportunity to thrive in their businesses.

  • Taking part in  ongoing in-house training as the company’s technology and knowledge evolves.

  • Be a Firm Ambassador, communicating the pride of the company to clients and others.. 

  • Strongly focusing on developing your skills, learning new software, gaining a deeper understanding regarding governing laws. Broadening your knowledge base allows for promotion within the company.



  • 4-year college degree required; preferably in accounting, finance, or business.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.

  • Passion for small businesses and their success!

  • Upbeat, confident, and friendly personality.

  • Excellent problem solver; offer ideas and recommendations to clients.

  • QuickBooks

  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • Reconciliations
