Title: Director, Trailer Electrical Electronic Systems (TEES)
Location: Savannah, GA
Compensation: up to $200k
Overview:Our valued client, a reputable manufacturing company, is currently in search of a capable and proactive Director of Trailer Electrical Electronic Systems. Taking on the role of Director of Trailer Electrical Electronic Systems (TEES), you will encompass a deep understanding of modern and future vehicle electric/electronic system application development, including methodologies, tools, infrastructures, ECU software, networking, and the detailed development of components such as gateways, domain control processors, and harnesses. Your responsibilities will also allow you to advocate for industry standards and best practices, with a focus on integrating Security and DevOps principles to expedite the delivery of secure, flexible, and resilient application solutions.

Responsibilities:
Oversee the end-to-end design and development of vehicle electrical/electronic (EE) systems, ensuring scalability, manufacturability, and maintainability.
Design and ensure the implementation of advanced vehicle electronic topologies.
Provide guidance for Model Based E/E development and design life cycle.
Offer training, mentoring, and leadership to the team.
Lead and manage the Product Development Process (PDP) for vehicle EE projects.
Supervise and manage all technical aspects of EE projects.
Develop and execute the project deployment strategy, including interfacing with the company's enterprise system.
Identify necessary resources and tools for managing, designing, validating, and implementing total vehicle electrical/electronic system requirements.
Collaborate with external vendors and partners to coordinate technology integration.
Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards, procedures, and policies.
Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration by staying updated on tech trends and encouraging experimentation with new technologies.
Take responsibility for recruitment, hiring, performance reviews, and career advancement of subordinate developer positions.
Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree equivalent in Computer Science/Electrical-Electronic engineering or related field (Master’s Degree can supplement experience in specific cases)
8+ years of full stack development experience; designing, building, and operating scalable, mission critical systems.
5+ years leading, mentoring, motivating and growing a mature and goal-driven delivery team.
2 + years extensive experience and deep technical understanding of the following:
o Vehicle communication protocol: ISO, SAE, VDA/FAT
o Programming languages: Java, C#, SQL
o Front-end architecture components: JavaScript, JSON, HTML5, CSS4, ReactJs, MaterialUI
o RDMS: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB
o Enterprise solution applications: ERP, CMS, CRM
o Server Architectures: Docker, Kubernetes, SpringBoot, Weblogic, Tomcat
2+ years of experience developing/consuming API’s and creating new integration points between multiple platforms
Preferred Qualifications and Physical Requirements:
Ability to work efficiently on several initiatives and projects at once, often with ambiguity and varying timelines.
Ability to play architect role and design solutions for complex business problems and integration issues
Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills to solve complex design and coding challenges
Ability to help team members work through conflict in a positive manner and get to resolution
Must be able to travel domestically and internationally, periodically up to 25%.
Must be willing to work occasional nights and/or weekends as project commitments dictate.
Must be able to sit stationary for long periods of time.
