Maintenance Technician (Electro-Mechanical)
The Maintenance Technician (Electro-Mechanical) is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial manufacturing equipment and plant systems. This position performs preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment and supports equipment installations, upgrades, and start-up projects.
• Perform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance on industrial production equipment and manufacturing systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain and repair industrial motors, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, valves, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, sensors, safety circuits, relays, contactors, breakers, transformers, and other industrial control systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot boilers, steam systems, air compressors, and other industrial plant utilities.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Install and modify electrical, mechanical, and control systems for production equipment and plant projects.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, robotics, and other industrial automation systems.
• Perform welding, fabrication, pipe fitting, and mechanical repairs as needed.
• Rebuild and fabricate components for industrial production equipment.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and document maintenance activities.
• Assist production operators and other Maintenance Team members with troubleshooting equipment and repairs.
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial machinery and production equipment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with industrial motors, controls, PLCs, VFDs, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and mechanical drawings.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Experience with industrial automation and control systems preferred.
• Ability to safely use maintenance tools and equipment.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a Maintenance Team.
• Ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift as assigned.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed to support plant operations.
