Schedule: Hybrid (with in-office presence as per firm policy)

Salary Range: $245,000 – $305,000, lockstep with the cloass year

Bonus Potential: Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, where in the past associates have earned anything between $20,000 – $100,000 in performance bonus.

T dynamic role as a mid-level corporate associate within its esteemed Life Sciences practice group, although they don't necessarily need to have Life Sciences experience if they are passionate about getting into it.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage various corporate transactions including equity financings, IPOs, registered offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance issues.
  • Provide guidance on SEC reporting obligations and compliance for public company clients.
  • Independently manage significant components of complex transactions while collaborating with deal teams.
  • Conduct legal research, due diligence, and prepare transactional documents, disclosure schedules, and board materials.
  • Work closely with partners, senior associates, and clients in a high-paced, high-stakes environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with strong academic performance.
  • Active bar admission in New York or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.
  • 2–4 years of experience in corporate and transactional law at a similar law firm.
  • Experience with public company work, registered equity offerings, SEC representation, and M&A transactions is essential.
  • Previous life sciences industry experience is preferred, though candidates with a strong interest in the sector will also be considered.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Billable Hour Expectation: 1,850 hours per year.
