Finance and Restructuring Litigation Associate Attorney
FINANCE & RESTRUCTURING LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
HYBRID - 3 days a week in office
A leading AmLaw 100 international law firm is seeking a talented mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney to join its sophisticated Finance & Restructuring Practice. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-stakes financial disputes, representing clients in complex matters involving commercial transactions, corporate debt restructurings, and related litigation. The role provides exceptional exposure to cutting-edge financial issues while working alongside a highly regarded, nationally integrated team.
Candidate Profile
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in Texas, in good standing
- 3–5 years of substantive litigation experience at an AmLaw 100 firm or similarly sophisticated law firm preferred
- Experience with financial services or restructuring-related litigation
- Demonstrated ability to manage all phases of complex litigation, including drafting legal documents, conducting discovery and depositions, preparing for trial, and participating in motions practice

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines, filings, client communications, and multiple competing priorities
- Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication and advocacy abilities, both written and oral
- Proven capacity to work collaboratively across offices and disciplines in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in financial, commercial, and restructuring-related litigation in federal and state courts and arbitration forums
- Manage complex litigation matters from pre-suit investigation through trial and post-trial proceedings
- Develop and execute case strategies, including discovery planning and implementation
- Draft, argue, and respond to motions, briefs, memoranda, and other substantive court filings
- Take and defend fact and expert witness depositions
- Conduct sophisticated legal research and draft complex motions, briefs, and memoranda

Attend court appearances, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, client meetings, and trial proceedings
- Collaborate closely with partners and clients to develop and execute case strategy
- Provide clients with timely, practical, and strategic advice on litigation and risk management
- Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented culture focused on excellence and innovation

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Salary: Annual salary range of $180,000– $300,000, as determined by experience and market factors
