A warm, active family in the Sarasota area is seeking a polished, proactive Nanny / House Manager to support their home and care for two young boys (ages 4 and 7). This is a highly trusted, hands-on role for someone who brings structure, energy, and strong follow-through to each day.
The right fit is confident and organized, takes initiative without prompting, and genuinely enjoys creating engaging, enriching experiences for children—both at home and out in the community. This position offers the opportunity to become an integral part of a well-run household, with a balance of childcare, coordination, and light home management responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, engaging care for two children (ages 4 and 7)
- Manage daily routines including school drop-off/pick-up and activity coordination
- Safely transport children to/from school, sports, and extracurriculars
- Plan and lead enriching outings and experiences (e.g., parks, museums, local attractions)
- Maintain organization throughout the home, especially children’s spaces
- Handle children’s laundry and maintain a clean, orderly kids’ bathroom
- Perform light household duties including vacuuming and dishwashing
- Manage grocery shopping and household errands
- Coordinate with and communicate with household vendors (landscaping, pool service, etc.)
- Provide occasional flexibility for off-hours childcare as needed
- Travel with the family as needed (employer-paid)
Requirements
- Confident, proactive, and highly dependable—this role requires strong presence and follow-through
- Prior experience as a nanny, teacher, daycare provider, or in a similar child-focused role
- CPR certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Non-smoker / non-vaper
- Valid passport or ability to obtain one
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Positive, engaging personality with a genuine love for working with children
Schedule & Compensation
- Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
- Salary: $55,000+ annually (based on experience)
- 1 week PTO + paid holidays + additional PTO opportunities
- Employer-paid travel when applicable
