An international AmLaw 50 firm is seeking an experienced Product Liability Attorney (Practice Attorney) to join its nationally recognized Products Liability & Complex Litigation practice. This is a non-partnership-track position designed for a senior-level attorney who thrives in a sophisticated litigation environment and values autonomy, collaboration, and high-level client service. The role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-stakes matters for industry-leading clients across a broad range of cutting-edge sectors.
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in state in which candidate resides and either Washington or California, in good standing
- 15+ years of substantive experience in product liability and/or complex commercial litigation
- Extensive experience defending manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors in product liability and toxic tort matters
- Demonstrated ability to manage cases with a high degree of independence
- Strong background in drafting briefs, correspondence, and written discovery responses
- Experience overseeing document collection, review, and production
- Familiarity with causation analysis and failure analysis
- Experience with multidistrict litigation (MDL) and/or coordinated state proceedings
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
- Strong work ethic, sound judgment, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Large law firm experience strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Defend product manufacturers, suppliers, and resellers in complex product liability and toxic tort litigation
- Serve as a key contributor on national and global litigation teams, including MDLs and coordinated proceedings
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and client correspondence
- Manage day-to-day case responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Coordinate document discovery processes, including collection, review, and production
- Analyze technical, scientific, and causation-related issues central to product liability claims
- Collaborate closely with partners, associates, and clients to develop and execute litigation strategy

Competitive Salary: annual salary range of $170,000 - $200,000, commensurate with experience and other market factors
