Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field along with at least (5) years of industrial safety and environmental required along with experience directly managing EHS professionals.
Must have a progressive approach to industrial safety and environmental background within heavy manufacturing operations. This position will drive the strategic direction of the EHS program for large metals manufacturing facility and directly manage an EHS Department.
Key areas should include the ability to lead an EHS program at a fast-paced working environment. Coach and mentor EHS team and have a metric driven approach utilizing key performance indicators and a strong manufacturing background such as aerospace, foundries, automotive, smelter, etc.
Technical excellence in areas of EHS management systems, workers compensation, general environmental compliance, operational safety with a metric driven approach.
