$42.00 – $44.00/Hour + Daily Overtime + Double-Time Sundays • Fort Atkinson, WI Area • 2nd Shift

 

EXPERIENCE DEPTH: 1+ years of proven, hands-on experience working as an industrial electrician or electrical maintenance technician within an automated manufacturing or packaging environment.
INDUSTRY FOCUS: Direct exposure to the unique safety, cleanliness, and electrical sealing standards required in food manufacturing, beverage processing, or similar highly regulated, high-hygiene production sectors.
TECHNICAL LITERACY: High proficiency in reading, interpreting, and translating three-phase power schematics, electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and control circuit logic.
EARNING POTENTIAL: $42.00 to $44.00 per hour baseline starting rate + an elite premium overtime structure:
  • 1.5x Time-and-a-Half paid daily for any hours worked over 8 in a single shift.

  • 2.0x Double-Time paid automatically for any hours worked on Sundays. CONTINUING EDUCATION: 100% company-paid tuition reimbursement for related technical coursework, electrical apprenticeships, or specialized automation certifications. LOCATION: Fort Atkinson, WI area (100% onsite pristine production facility; must reside within a dependable 45-minute daily driving radius). COMPLIANCE: United States Citizens or Green Card holders only; must be comfortable working at heights (ladders, lifts, scaffolding) and maneuvering around active high-voltage enclosures.

This position is built for a sharp industrial electrician who wants to step away from unpredictable commercial construction bidding or chaotic third-party service routes. Serving as the Lead Technical Point Person on a dedicated 2nd shift team, you will ensure the safety, code compliance, and uptime of advanced automation systems. What You Will Be Doing

  • Shift Technical Leadership: Serving as the lead technical resource on 2nd shift for the troubleshooting, installation, and repair of all plant electrical infrastructure, industrial controls, and automated production panels.
  • Active Logic Diagnostics: Interpreting complex electrical schematics and blueprints to rapidly isolate, diagnose, and resolve equipment failures under active production conditions to minimize downtime.
  • Code Compliance Execution: Executing all electrical maintenance, rewiring, component replacements, and hardware updates to strictly adhere to national (NEC) and localized electrical codes.
  • Documentation & Master Updates: Documenting daily maintenance logs, tracking preventative maintenance (PM) milestones, and updating electrical drawings to reflect active field changes.
  • Overhead Infrastructure Care: Utilizing ladders, lifts, and scaffolding as needed to safely access, inspect, and service overhead power distribution networks and production equipment.
  • Regulatory Workspace Management: Maintaining a pristine, organized workspace by adhering strictly to facility sanitation guidelines, allergen controls, 5S standards, and safety-first manufacturing protocols.

  • Automation Floor Acumen: Practical familiarity diagnosing faults across automated packaging networks, conveyor systems, VFDs, sensors, and motor control centers (MCCs).
