For a production supervisor or team lead who is tired of toxic shop-floor politics, unstable corporate layoffs, and underappreciated off-shift hours, this direct-hire tracking opportunity represents a significant career upgrade. The employer is a high-growth sector leader that actively treats its leadership team as a foundational asset, investing heavily in professional training and clear management development. This is a workplace where professionals genuinely establish long-term, multi-decade careers.

The facility operates under rigorous, safety-first guidelines, removing the friction often found in high-velocity packaging environments. Because the organization is expanding its market share, leaders are given the technical resources and autonomy needed to drive real procedural value rather than just micro-managing headcount. Backed by a highly lucrative overtime structure that guarantees time-and-a-half for any weekend demand, this role provides the perfect balance of career stability and elevated financial upside.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Team Leadership: Directing, mentoring, and motivating an off-shift production crew, managing daily shift assignments, and optimizing line headcount.
  • Material Flow Coordination: Strategically aligning raw ingredient delivery and resource allocation to streamline line efficiency and hit daily throughput targets.
  • Quality & Safety Governance: Upholding stringent regulatory benchmarks, ensuring 100% compliance with food safety protocols, and driving a zero-incident plant environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Initiating tactical lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects to eliminate line bottlenecks and boost overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Shift Handoff Management: Serving as the central technical liaison between morning operations and night crews to guarantee seamless communication and minimal downtime during handoffs.
  • Performance Documentation: Handling workplace conflict resolution, updating labor tracking logs, and conducting accurate performance reviews within an organized manufacturing setting.

What We Are Looking For

  • Manufacturing Leadership Pedigree: A minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience leading production lines, blending cells, or packaging teams inside a highly regulated environment.
  • Interpersonal Excellence: A natural, collaborative communicator with a proven track record of de-escalating floor friction and driving diverse team engagement.
  • Technical Adaptability: Proficient utilizing standard Microsoft Office suites (Excel, Word, Outlook) or localized ERP systems for daily metric reporting and labor scheduling.
  • Professional Reliability: A rock-solid, progressive employment history showing reliable attendance, strong safety habits, and long-term commitment to past employers.
