Instrumentation Technician - 2nd Shift

In fast paced manufacturing environments, the Instrumentation Technician combines technical expertise with hands on troubleshooting to support production uptime, process control, and operational performance. This is a detail oriented, active role that installs, calibrates, and repairs the electrical and pneumatic systems that keep automated manufacturing operations running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, machinery, and equipment
  • Working with industrial switchgear, transformers, and motor control centers (MCCs)
  • Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Working with PLC controls and electro-mechanical systems
  • Following NEC standards and company safety procedures

Qualifications:

  • Two year degree or certificate in Industrial Electrical and Instrumentation, OR a State Electrical License
  • Strong working knowledge of industrial electrical systems and controls
  • Ability to read schematics and work with PLCs
