Aspire Talent Solutions is partnered with an INCREDIBLE organization in their search for a Field Sales Representative for the Southeastern SC territory! The Field Sales Representative will play a fundamental role in achieving ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. This person will be responsible for outbound cold calling, working with lead generation partners to handle qualified leads, generating interest in offerings, qualifying prospects, closing sales, managing accounts, and increasing overall value-added services and products drive additional revenue streams within assigned accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential customers with prospecting calls and in-person meetings within assigned territory, email campaigns, and other proactive sales activities.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers via phone, video conference, email, and in-person.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain and update accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system (Hubspot).
  • Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns and partner with the customer service team to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Market Research: Stay up to date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify new business opportunities. Gather new prospect lists and perform lead generation duties.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market feedback for the sales manager and senior leadership.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of inside B2B sales experience required; previous logistics, freight, or corrugated material sales experience extremely beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred (The Citadel Grads are encouraged to apply!)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to handle rejection and persevere.
  • Proficient in CRM software (Hubspot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic.
  • Proactive approach and mentality to provide long-term solutions and incredible customer experiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional and polished demeanor with the ability to be the ‘face’ of the organization to prospects, customers, and other parties.
  • Ability to travel to clients and prospects within assigned territory (Charleston, SC to Savannah, GA; Southeastern SC).
  • Comfortable cold calling and visiting prospects IN PERSON.
