We are seeking a hunter-minded Sales Account Manager to drive new business growth through aggressive prospecting and lead generation within the industrial and manufacturing space. The ideal candidate enjoys opening doors and has the technical aptitude to understand customer applications and translate requirements into manufacturable solutions. Over time, this role will evolve from heavy prospecting into long-term account ownership and relationship management.

 

Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and close new OEM customers through outbound prospecting and lead generation
  • Build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities within industrial and manufacturing markets
  • Assess customer applications and technical requirements to recommend custom enclosure solutions
  • Gather and qualify customer information to support accurate quoting and project execution
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales KPIs and revenue targets
  • Develop long-term relationships with OEM customers as accounts mature
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through close and ongoing support
  • Collaborate with internal engineering, production, and operations teams to ensure customer expectations are clearly communicated and met
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, documentation, and forecasting
  • Represent the company professionally at customer sites, meetings, and industry interactions

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in hunter-style B2B sales within industrial or manufacturing environments; OEM sales experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand custom-manufactured solutions
  • Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures preferred
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and custom fabrication
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable working independently in a nationwide territory
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Forklift / Powered Industrial Truck certification is a plus (training available if needed)
