Opportunity

Imagine a role where your everyday decisions prevent costly downtime and keep a world-class industrial facility running at peak efficiency. This is that role. A confidential global leader in industrial gases and engineering—with $34 billion in annual revenue—needs a Mechanical Industrial Reliability Engineer in Pittsburg, California, who can take ownership of reliability from day one. You will step into a position that directly influences plant safety, productivity, and profitability.

Your work will drive the reliability of critical assets such as compressors, heat exchangers, pumps, and piping systems. You will collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to resolve chronic equipment issues, lead root cause analyses to eliminate recurring failures, and apply Six Sigma methodologies to build a culture of continuous improvement. By analyzing lifecycle data, you will recommend cost-effective upgrades and shape preventive and predictive maintenance programs that keep the facility operating reliably, 24/7.

The ideal candidate brings a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least five years of hands-on reliability engineering experience in industrial manufacturing. You are comfortable interpreting P&IDs and machinery drawings, and you have a track record of designing and specifying mechanical systems. You communicate clearly, lead without formal authority, and thrive in a data-driven environment where your decisions directly impact asset uptime and operational cost.

This is a career-defining opportunity to join a company where reliability isn’t just a function—it’s a competitive advantage. In return for your expertise, you’ll receive a salary between $120,000 and $140,000, full relocation assistance, and a role with high visibility across the organization. If you’re ready to make a lasting impact at a global powerhouse, apply today and take the next step in your reliability engineering career.
