This Senior Scientist position offers a rare chance to tackle some of the most important national security challenges in the undersea domain. You will be at the forefront of technology development, turning first-principle analysis into real-world prototypes that make a difference. The work spans everything from electronics design to signal processing, all aimed at keeping our nation safe.
Your days will vary from diving deep into fundamental physics to leading at-sea experiments. You will develop and manage innovative maritime programs, author winning proposals, and guide cross-functional teams through complex system design. Because our programs are multidisciplinary, you will collaborate with experts company-wide and see your ideas move quickly from concept to testing.
We are looking for a curious and driven scientist who thrives on hard technical problems and enjoys mentoring others. If you have a background in acoustics, subsea technology, or Navy operations, you will feel at home. Your ability to communicate clearly and connect with both engineers and customers will be key, as will your passion for seeing projects through from start to finish.
This is an immediate full-time role with flexibility to work out of Groton or Pawcatuck, Connecticut. US citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance are required. If you are ready to lead pioneering research that shapes the ocean battlespace, we want to hear from you. Apply today to join a team that values your expertise and gives you the runway to make a lasting impact.
