Opportunity

This is a career-defining role for an electrical engineer who thrives on seeing their designs come to life. You’ll drive new electronic and electrical products from initial concept through manufacturing release, while also enhancing existing product lines. It’s a hands-on, high-impact position where your work directly shapes the company’s product roadmap.

You’ll lead innovative design, prototype, test, and troubleshoot complex electrical systems. From schematic creation to production qualification, you’ll manage the entire lifecycle, ensuring designs meet performance, cost, and reliability targets. Your decisions will influence manufacturing processes, tooling, and supplier collaboration.

We’re looking for a creative problem-solver with at least five years of electrical design experience, ideally in consumer products. You have a BSEE or equivalent, strong CAD/simulation skills, and a track record of taking sketches to manufacturable designs. You’re equally comfortable with technical analysis and project management, and you communicate clearly across teams.

If you’re ready to own projects from start to finish, work across the full hardware stack, and see your designs move from the bench to the shelf, this opportunity delivers. Apply today to join a company where your engineering expertise will make a visible difference.

Non-Negotiables

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Electrical Engineering Technology (BSET), or equivalent is required
  • You bring a minimum of five years of professional experience in electrical design engineering
  • You have a strong command of schematic reading and design tools, including simulation, analysis, and CAD
  • You demonstrate hands-on experience taking products from initial concept to manufacturable design
  • You possess proven project management skills with the ability to handle timelines, budgets, and quality targets independently

What's In It For You

  • You will receive a competitive compensation package commensurate with your experience and expertise
  • The company offers comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans
  • You can take advantage of a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching
  • Generous paid time off and holiday schedules support work-life balance
  • You’ll enjoy continuous learning opportunities and support for professional development
  • With direct ownership of projects, you will have a clear path to expand your technical leadership skills
  • You will work in a collaborative environment that values innovation and creative problem-solving

Responsibilities

  • You will lead the full product development lifecycle for new electronic and electrical products, from concept through production release
  • You are responsible for creating schematics, building prototypes, and iterating designs to meet performance targets
  • You independently manage project timelines, budgets, and quality goals to ensure on-time delivery
  • You design, fabricate, and evaluate both rapid and conventional prototypes for performance and reliability
  • You write detailed product specifications, test plans, and verification documentation to validate designs
  • You troubleshoot complex electrical and electronic issues during development and post-production
  • You collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and suppliers on tooling, assembly, and capacity planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in consumer product design is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with rapid prototyping techniques and design for manufacturability is a plus
  • Exposure to financial modeling and new product development (NPD) processes gives you an edge
  • Strong analytical instincts and clear communication skills are valued
  • A creative, problem-solving mindset that thrives in a fast-paced environment is highly preferred
