Senior Software Test Engineer

Your Key Responsibilities

✅ Lead and work independently on design and development tasks

✅ Must develop a complete understanding of company’s common core code base and assist with implementation and/or debug for all assigned development projects

✅ Develop software to test transceiver modules as schedules and target dates require

✅ Coordinate software development with hardware, manufacturing, test and other groups

✅ Be familiar with industry standards and customer requirements

✅ Evaluate future requirements and define/develop the needed software architecture to meet these requirements

✅ Perform training and support of company’s personnel in field of expertise

What You Bring to the Role

🔹 Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or equivalent field

🔹 5-10 years of experience in the applicable engineering field developing software applications or testing software related to robotics or instrumentation

🔹 Proficient in using Visual Studio (VB.Net, C++ or C#)

🔹 Must have experience developing test applications that use GPIB, USB, Ethernet, and serial controlled test equipment

🔹 Must be a hard-working with strong problem-solving skills

🔹 Must be able to work both independently, as well as part of a team with good communication skills
