This role supports a collaborative litigation team, including attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants, and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain entry into a larger firm environment with strong mentorship and long-term growth potential. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to a defense litigation team
- Assist with drafting, formatting, and proofreading pleadings, discovery, and correspondence
- Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files
- Coordinate calendars, hearings, depositions, and meetings
- Handle incoming calls and assist with client communication
- Support billing, time entry, and general administrative needs
- Assist with trial preparation and litigation support projects
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of defense litigation experience in a law firm setting
- Familiarity with Texas state and federal court procedures and e-filing systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor and team-oriented mindset
