Our client, a respected Dallas law firm is seeking a highly experienced Legal Assistant to provide dedicated support to the firm’s Managing Partner within its Healthcare Law practice. This is a key role for a polished professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, exercises sound judgment, and can operate with a high level of discretion, organization, and initiative.
This position is ideal for a seasoned legal assistant who is confident managing complex administrative and legal workflows, anticipates needs, and takes pride in being a trusted right hand to executive-level leadership.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive executive and legal support to the Managing Partner, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements
  • Prepare, revise, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and presentations with exceptional accuracy and professionalism
  • Assist with healthcare regulatory, compliance, and transactional matters, as applicable
  • Coordinate client communications, schedule calls and meetings, and maintain strong client service standards
  • Manage document organization, electronic and physical files, and matter tracking systems
  • Handle time entry, billing coordination, and expense reporting
  • Support special projects, deadlines, and high-priority initiatives with efficiency and confidentiality
  • Serve as a liaison between the Managing Partner, attorneys, clients, and external contacts
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of legal assistant experience, preferably supporting senior attorneys or firm leadership
  • Prior experience in healthcare law, regulatory, or compliance environments strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules, shifting priorities, and confidential information
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal document management systems
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Professional presence and strong client-facing skills
