Our client, a respected Austin law firm, is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to provide high-level administrative and legal support to a team of four litigation attorneys. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with a strong compensation package, paid training, paid-parking, generous leave, and a business casual work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and schedule depositions, court reporters, and videographers
Draft, format, edit, and finalize legal, agency, and business documents
Manage deadlines, hearings, and court filings (state & federal e-filing)
Maintain client files, indexes, and document management systems
Support attorneys with billing, CRM updates, and administrative tasks
Handle scheduling, travel arrangements, mail, calls, and office duties
Safeguard confidentiality and ensure compliance with privacy rules
Requirements
3+ years of litigation legal secretary experience
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Adobe Acrobat
Strong knowledge of court filing procedures, legal terminology, and document formatting
Experience with billing systems (Emburse/iTimeKeep preferred), CRM tools, and document management systems (iManage preferred)
Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive under deadlines
Professional, client-focused demeanor with a positive attitude
