Our client, a growing Dallas, Texas organization is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to support its in-house legal and compliance functions. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth legal operations, maintaining regulatory compliance, and providing hands-on support across a range of corporate and transactional matters. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, organized, and proactive, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
Work Arrangement: This is an on-site position based in our Dallas office, with a hybrid option.
Key Responsibilities
This position provides broad legal and administrative support across the business, including:
Contract Administration: Maintain accurate and organized records of company agreements; track renewals, expirations, and deadlines; coordinate execution and storage of contracts; and ensure consistent version control.
Compliance Support: Assist with licensing, registrations, and periodic filings across multiple jurisdictions; help track deadlines and ensure timely submissions.
Document and Template Management: Maintain and update standard legal forms and templates; periodically review and align documents with current policies and operations.
Legal Intake and Coordination: Serve as the initial point of contact for general legal inquiries; handle routine matters and escalate as needed.
Administrative and Operational Support: Coordinate scheduling, track department invoices, and help prioritize legal and compliance tasks.
Entity Management: Support formation and maintenance of corporate entities, manage good standing status, maintain the organizational chart, and assist with filings.
Research and Monitoring: Conduct preliminary research on laws and regulations relevant to the company’s business and help track legislative developments.
Corporate Governance: Maintain company minute books, resolutions, and other corporate records.
Document Drafting: Prepare initial drafts of standard corporate documents such as consents, resolutions, and agreements.
Transaction and Diligence Support: Assist with data room management, document review, and due diligence processes.
Litigation Support: Provide administrative or organizational assistance on legal matters as needed.
Qualifications
3+ years of corporate paralegal or related in-house experience.
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program preferred.
Familiarity with corporate, compliance, and contract law principles.
Experience with multi-state entities, Secretary of State filings, and corporate databases.
Exposure to real estate or property management matters a plus.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Clear and professional communication skills—both written and verbal.
Self-starter who can balance independent work with collaboration across teams.
Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to high-quality work.
