Our client, a respected Dallas law firm is seeking a Mergers & Acquisitions Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join its growing corporate practice in Uptown Dallas.
This position is ideal for an attorney with solid transactional experience who enjoys working directly with clients and wants to be part of a sophisticated corporate practice.
What You’ll Do
- Represent clients in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other corporate transactions
- Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, merger documents, letters of intent, and ancillary transaction documents
- Conduct and coordinate due diligence
- Identify and analyze legal and business issues associated with transactions
- Work directly with clients, opposing counsel, investment professionals, and other advisors
- Assist with transaction structuring and closing processes
- Manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
What We’re Looking For
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active Texas Bar license and good standing
- 3+ years of meaningful M&A / corporate transactional experience
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Excellent legal research and analytical abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and competing priorities
- Professional communication skills and a client-service mindset
