Our client, a highly respected Dallas based law firm, is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support a Managing Partner with a dynamic practice focused on complex transactions, mergers & acquisitions, and compliance with healthcare-related entities.

This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a highly strategic dealmaker handling sophisticated transactions from start to finish, including acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring across a variety of industries, particularly healthcare. This attorney is known for a practical, business-minded approach and managing deals efficiently from negotiation through closing. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative and legal support in a fast-paced transactional practice
  • Assist with M&A transactions, including preparation and management of closing binders, signature pages, and transaction documents
  • Draft, revise, and proofread correspondence, agreements, and legal documents
  • Coordinate due diligence materials and organize data rooms
  • Manage attorney calendar, deadlines, and deal timelines
  • Handle client communications with professionalism and discretion
  • Maintain and organize complex deal files and documentation

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of legal assistant experience within corporate/M&A or transactional practice groups
  • Strong experience supporting deal flow, closings, and document management
  • Familiarity with healthcare transactions or regulatory matters is a plus
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
